The building, known as the Club House (chosen by the community) was formally a Scout Hut.  It was built 30 years ago by volunteers from The Scouting Movement. The land is owned by Flintshire County Council and they leased this plot to the Scouts on a 25 year lease.  By early 2000 the Scouts felt they were unable to continue.  At this point the local community felt there was a need for such a facility and entered into negotiations with FCC.  By 2005 FCC had agreed to community use and The Club House was officially launched in June 2005.  A 25 year lease from FCC followed. 

We became a limited by guarantee company  that year but we did not get Charity Status until 2006.
