Welcome to The Bryn Gwalia Communities First web page. Communities First aims to get local people involved in improving their areas as well as their own prospects.

It ensures that everybody in the community has an opportunity to work together to identify issues and do something about their community’s problems. 

Anything and everything that is funded or supported under Communities First is aimed at:- 

v Building the confidence of local people.

v Involving people in making their communities better places in which to work, live and play.

v Encouraging education and skills training for work.

v Creating jobs and increasing the income of local people.

v Improving housing and the environment.

v Improving health & wellbeing through an active and healthy lifestyle.

v Making communities safe. 

 The mission statement of The Bryn Gwalia Communities First Partnership Board is: 

"Bryn Gwalia should be a happy place where people
are happy and proud to live and where people work
together to create a better quality of life and future for
EVERYONE!”
